The job
The brief
Castroni had built a genuine local following on the strength of the roast, but the packaging was doing none of the talking. Bags looked like sample bags. The wholesale side needed something that could sit on a café shelf next to national brands without apologising.
What we did
We kept what people already recognised — the character, the est-2020 stamp, the black-and-cream honesty of it — and rebuilt everything around it. A tighter mark, a proper hierarchy on the bag so blend and weight read at arm's length, and a system that stretches from a 250g retail bag to a 2kg hot chocolate tub without falling apart.
How it landed
Once the packaging landed, the rest followed quickly: merchandise the staff actually wanted to wear, a pavement A-board for the door, and full livery on the delivery van — which now does more advertising in a week than a year of boosted posts.
